Technical Officer - Documentation Vacancy at Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi)

Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a non-profit organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. It was established as an affiliate of the Family Health International (FHi360) to sustain FHI’s achievements in strengthening indigenous organizational capacity in Nigeria. AHNi currently has its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.

We are seeking qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Officer - Documentation

Project Summary
The Reading and Numeracy Activity (RANA) is DFID-funded through UNICEF on early primary grades reading pilot project implemented in partnership with FRI 360 in collaboration with the Niger, Kebbi & Katsina state governments. RANA aims to improve literacy and numeracy for girls and boys in primary grades 1-3 in the supported states. It will assist approximately 100 formal Schools and integrated Qur’anic Schools (lQS) in each of the states.

Responsibilities
Technical Officer - Documentation will support the Director, PCT in knowledge management for improvement of quality TB-HIV, mitigation, care and treatment activities on the SIDHAS project including PMTCT-IMNCH, RH-HIV and TB-HIV integration

Minimum Recruitment Standards
MBBS/MD/PhD or similar degree with a minimum of 1 to 3 years progressive experience in IMNCH, PMTCT, RH/HIV and TB/HIV in resource constrained settings.
Experience with ART/TB/RH programs is required.
Possession of an MPH, MSc Epidemiology or post graduate degree in a related field is required.
Experience In project development and in academic settings with proven experience in the planning and facilitation of training is desirable.
Having peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals is an added advantage.
