Appeal Court Failed to Give A Verdict on Dino Melaye’s Petition Seeking To Reclaim His Mandate

Senator Dino Melaye was sacked by the tribunal and his election victory was nullified in favor of the petition of  Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress who lost the senatorial district to the PDP.
After losing his bid to become the candidate of his party the PDP in the Forthcoming November governorship polls, Senator Dino Melaye had hoped that the Appeal Court will reaffirm his election and restore him to his position in the senate.

But the Appeal Court instead has reserved judgment in the case, leading to a lot of anxiety in his camp. If Dino Melaye does not get a reaffirmation, it will mean that his political influence in Kogi state may suffer.

It will be an admittance of the fact that Governor Yahaya Bello has done irreparable damage to the Senator's political career.
