The embattled Vice President of Nigeria has expressed his regrets over media attacks against his credibility and the allegation that he collected N94bn from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for Buhari’s campaign.
A seemingly outraged Osinbajo offered to set aside his immunity and face trial over the allegations to prove his innocence and clear his name.
It is obvious that the powers that be in President Buhari’s administration are no longer in tune with Osinbajo who many believe is under pressure to resign.
Osinbajo is speaking out at a time when the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) key players in the Buhari Presidency have remained silent over weighty allegations against him.
Their silence is not only suspicious but it also shows that Osinbajo is all alone in his ordeal.
