The speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has threatened to report all the service chiefs in Nigeria to Mr. President after they all failed to attend a meeting organized by the House of Representatives for discussions on the state of insecurity in the country and what they are doing about it.
The house had invited the Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai, Chief of Air Staff and Naval Staff to attend a meeting on the security situation in Nigeria.
The Three Service chiefs were absent, they sent representatives to the meetings without giving any reason for their absence.
Dissatisfied, the House Speaker vowed to report the service Chiefs to President Buhari for failing to answer the call of the Nigerian people through the House of Representatives.
Nigeria currently faces a lot of security problems ranging from banditry, kidnapping and a resurgence of terrorism in the North-East.
Many people have blamed the security lapses on the service chiefs who they think have run out of new ideas on tackling insecurity but President Buhari thinks otherwise.
