that Simon Achuba has been impeached as the deputy governor of Kogi state.
After moving out of the Kogi state government house in Lokoja, Achuba called a
press conference in the ancient city of Lokoja.
The press conference
held on Sunday while the ew deputy Edward Onoja was basking in the euphoria of
his new promotion and receiving congratulatory messages from different
quarters.
In the quite emotional
press conference, Achuba called on resident Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in
the political situation in Kogi state which he describes as tyranny.
His exit from the
Lugard house has proved the speculations of political analysts to be false. It
was earlier predicted by some political commentators that that being the most experienced politician in the
government, Achuba will remain a force to reckon with.
