The management of the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State has released a new academic calendar for activities in the school after its protracted closure was cut short recently.
According to the new academic calendar which has generated a lot of mixed feelings among students, the Christmas and New year period will be a beehive of activities in the school as there would be no additional holidays for students.
The students have barely one month before the commencement of their exams. This is to ensure that the long period of closure does not affect the original student's academic calendar so that they can graduate as at when due.
Though most students were unhappy about the new development, they have accepted it in good fate after spending a long time at home.
