Chief Judge Who Survived Impeachment Helps To Replace An Impeached Deputy Governor

The Chief Judge of Kogi state Justice Nasiru Ajana has sworn in the new deputy governor of Kogi state chief Edward Onoja by administering the oath of office to him.

Although his actions are constitutional, they seem to have contradicted the law of justice and conscience. Just a few months ago, Justice Nasiru Ajana was battling to retain his position as the state chief judge after loyalists of governor Yahaya Bello tried to remove him through the state house of assembly.

He survived the move after the supreme court intervened. Ast forward to some months after, the same chief judge has blessed the removal of a deputy governor through what some have alleged to be political schemings by governor Yahaya Bello.

Ajana boldly administered the oath of office to Edward Ooja the nominee of the governor and it seemed that many people were not happy about it.
