The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state is far from over as Adams Oshiomhole and the state governor Obaseki has resumed the hot exchange of words over an attack on Adams Oshiomholes in Edo State.
A group of protesters had besieged the national chairman of APC Adams Oshiomhole, they were supporters of the governor and were probably reacting against claims that Oshiomhole is plotting to deny the governor a second term.
The claim of attack was however rebuffed by the Edo State police command.
In an angry reaction, Adams Oshiomhole accused the governor of planning to destabilize the APC in Edo state and then decamp to another party.
He also expressed his belief that any plots of the governor against him will fail.
