A former Secretary to the government of the federation Mr Babachir David Lawal has explained what he has been doing since his exit from the office over allegations of corruption.
Babachir who was speaking to newsmen in Adamawa state on the political issues in Nigeria was reported to have said that he was facing his cows. He further stated that after Buhari completes his second term in 2023, he will retire to Daura to face his cows.
Babachir Lawal's case has been used by critics of the Buhari government aginst his anti corruption fight. Since Babachir was accused of corruption and sacked, they expected him to be placed on trial but that never happened.
His relationship with Buhari is still very cordial and some persons still think that he may find his way into the government before Buhari’s second term elapses.
