A former minister of sports in Nigeria Solomon Dalung has shared his views on the crises rocking the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF. He made his views known on a Radio Nigeria program on October 17.
The roots of the crises according to him can be traced to the election of 2016. E narrated how some powerful persons sharply removed an elected NFF president and replaced him with someone who was not elected or supported by the majority.
This resulted in a lot of management crises that have affected the fortunes of football in Nigeria. Dalung maintained that until the crises are resolved there can be no meaningful progress in Nigerian football.
He lamented the fact that football is not being run as expected and so new talents cannot be discovered.
