Governor Bello Baggs Igala Traditional Title Days To Guber Election

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state and incumbent governor of the state Alhaji Yahaya Bello has received a traditional title from the Atta of Igala HRH Ameh Oboni 11.

There were reports that the governor was enjoying enormous support from the royal father who had accompanied him to Abuja to meet with President Buhari and other APC chieftains in the build-up to the party primary.

Governor Bello received the title along with his deputy Edward Onoja at the Atta’s palace in Idah amidst cheers and jubilations from his supporters.

The Governorship election is just a few days ago and it seems that the title will boost the chances of governor Bello ahead of the guber polls.

However, many people have questioned the timing of the event claiming that the royal father was into partisan politics and was not a father to all Kogites as expected.
