The
acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is
allegedly homesick. There are re[ports that there are ongoing negotiations on
his behalf with the federal government of Nigeria for him to return.
Nnamdi
Kanu fled Nigeria after he was granted bail by the courts. He was said to have
fled due to threats to his life from security agencies in Nigeria who were
believed to have stormed his residence to adopt him.
For
a long time, no one knew the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu until he resurfaced in
Isreal praying before the famous wall in Jerusalem.
He
later traveled to Britain where he is believed to have been living since then
and promoting the Biafran course.
However,
the ongoing negotiations were aimed at placating security agencies in Nigeria
to allow Nnamdi Kanu to visit Nigeria for his mothers funeral
