Ibro, Son, Hold Meeting With Governor Bello

The former governor of gi state Ibrahim Idris and his son Abubakar Idris who had expressed his grievances over the emergence of Engr Musa Wada as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming November governorship polls have been alleged to have held a secret meeting with governor Bello.

There are speculations that Ibro and his son may work against their party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election. The two major contenders in the governorship race were the sons of two former governors of the state; captain Idris da and Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.

If the allegations are confirmed then the political clime in Kgi state may change in the coming days.

Governor Bello was alleged to be attempting to bribe the former governor and his son to support him has been building his political base in Kogi state and working with key members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national level to ensure that he emerges victorious.

However, Abubakar Idris has debunked reports of the alleged visit as false.
