JAMB Candidates Besiege NIMC Centers For National ID Card

Following announcements that the National Identity Management Commission registration will be a requirement for all candidates awaiting the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB),
prospective JAMB candidates are now going to NIMC centers across the country to get their National Identity Cards.

Students can be seen in their school uniforms waiting at long ques to carry out the registration and get their NIMC slip.

Some parents who accompanied the students to the centers complained that the information came too late and that it is a distraction to students at this time.

Ome schools are planning of trying to organize a platform where NIMC officials can come to their schools for registration. Problems such as poor power supply, errors from NIMC officials and late resumption of duty have so far marred the exercise.
