Kano Stray Lion Still At Large

Its been over a week since news broke of a lion that escaped its cage in a Zoo in Kano state, reports making the rounds indicate that the management of the zoo is yet to recapture the lion and take it back to its cage.

Up to this moment, sources (dutable.com) say that the lion is still at large. Although there have been no reports of the lion being signed anywhere outside the zoo, people are beginning to doubt the earlier reports that the lion is still within the premises of the zoo.

The lion is a wild animal of the cat family that feeds on the flesh of other animals and man is not an exception.

Sources also say that the management of the Kano Zoological Garden has faulted their inability to recapture the beast on lack of expertise and have also announced that they will seek the help of experts to recapture it.

Until the lion is recaptured and taken back to its cage in the zoo, residents who live around the zoo may still be afraid to move around freely.
