Nicholas Okoh To Buhari – Declare State Of Emergency On Security Now

The Primate of Anglican Church Nigeria Most Rev Nicholas Okoh has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a state of emergency on security because of the recent spate of insecurity, kidnapping and insurgency going on in many parts of the country.

Okoh made the call on Sunday while responding to newsmen. He claimed that all was not well with Nigeria and that the government is not responding to the issues as it should.

This is coming on the heels of reports that Boko harm activities have increased in the Northeast and efforts being made by the government to address the issue are not yielding positive results.

The Anglican church has been at the forefront of advocating for good governance in Nigeria and speaking the mind of the people on burning national issues.
