The governor of Benue ate who is serving his second term as the elected governor of Benue state has declared that he has no anointed successor. He also urged the people to disregard anyone who is claiming to have been anointed by him as his successor.
He said this while addressing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders on Friday in Makurdi, the Benue state capital according to Punch News. He recommended that anyone who wants to become the governor of the state should follow the zoning arrangement already in place.
He explained that anyone who does not respect the zoning arrangement in Benue state cannot enjoy his support.
Although it is still very early, politicians who have an ambition for the 2023 elections have started making consultations with relevant stakeholders in their respective states.
