Xenophobia: Nigerians In Purgatory Have Been Forgotten

The last that was heard about Nigerians who were suffering attacks in South Africa was the kindness of the CEO of Airpeace who airlifted stranded Nigerians from the troubled country.

After that, the president of Nigeria even visited SouthAfrica and had a meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa amidst heavy attacks on foreigners which went unabated.
But now nothing has been heard from Nigerians who remained in the country.

Their plight and struggles have been poorly reported.in the news. Pockets of reports claimed that violence against Nigerians and other nationals in the country have continued at a minimal level.

That seemed not to matter to most Nigerians now who are struggling to cope with the harsh economic realities in the country.

It is a matter of reality for Nigerians to consider the plight of her citizens who are being maltreated in some countries of the world especially in Africa.
