The morale of te All Progressives Congress supporters have increased drastically with the recent
landslide victory in the just concluded governorship elections in Bayelsa and
Kogi states.
Supporters of the party now think that the Appeal Court will nullify
Governor Samuel Ortom's election in favor of their party’s candidate.
That is why the Peoples Democratic Party are jittery over thhe relocation
of the Appeal hearing from Makurdi the Benue state capital to Abuja.
The PDP sees the move as an attempt by the All Progressives Congress
(APC) to influence the outcome of the ruling of the Appeal court in their favor.
The victory of the APC in Kogi state has proved to members of the APC
that their party is still very strong in the middle belt states.
The APC had appealed the decision of the governorship tribunal which upheld governor Samuel Ortom's election for a second term.
