Calabar Carnival Draws Nearer

As we approach the yuletide season again, Nigerians have been bringing to mind memories from past editions of the famous Calabar carnival that has brought Nigeria to the front stage in yuletide festivities.

Tourists and foreign visitors grace the festival which runs from December, through Christmas into the New Year. Many fun lovers and adventurers will travel from far distances to attend the 2019 Calabar carnival.

The event is memorable for its color and pomp which has made it the biggest festival in Nigeria which attracts the heist foreign tourists to the country.

Calabar is located in Crossriver state Nigeria and the festival was said to have gained much prominence during the administration of former governor Donald Duke.

Celebrities and stars in the Nigerian entertainment industry also take part in the activities lined up for one of the biggest celebrations of culture in Africa.
