Exposed! Why Senator Abbo is Supporting The Anti-hatespeech Bill

                  

As soon as many Nigerians found out that Senator Abbo was supporting the anti-hate speech bill, they started trolling him on social media bring up dark memoriesw of the senator.

On the surface one would congratulate senator Abbo for being a statesmen in supporting such a sensitive bill brought by a Senator of the ruling party when he was in the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.

However, whe it is given a closer look, a an incident which occurred any months ago when senator Abbo physically abused a lady at a shop in Abuja came to mind.

The young senator was bashed from left right and center especially on social media. Senator Abbo may have felt that people who have peddled such stories about him and attacked his personality deserved no less that the penalty for hate speech.
