When news broke out
that the former head of state Gen Yakubu Gowon has accepted the paternity of a
son, many people thought that he probably had a newborn son or a grandson.
Rather, the 48 years old man Musa Gowon who has been fighting the case in
court with his late mother for many years. Gowon was said to be friends with an
Igbo lady Princess Edith Ike-Okongwu.
When she had a child, Gowon allegedly denied being the father of the
child and went on to get married to victoria.
The man has also spent some time in jail outside Nigeria that was why he
could not meet his father after winning the case in court.
Sources claim that Gowon was made to do a DNA test which proved that he
was the father of the man before he accepted the paternity of the man.
