The
former president of Nigeria Dr Goodluck Jonathan has continued to show
indications that there is some unusual relationship between him and President
Buhari.
When many people
expected them to be at loggerheads in many issues after Buhari and his cabinet
members repeatedly rubbished Jonathan's legacies, Jonathan continued to behave
in manners that make many people think that his peaceful handing over to Buhari
is more than just a good political gesture.
Jonathan shocked his
supporters during the last governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states
when he said that change must start from the youths.
He made the statement
while reacting to the late-coming of electoral officials to his polling unit.
The president said that he came at the time set for activities to commence for
the election but did not meet anyone there.
He bashed Nigerian
youths for always blaming the government and leaders without blaming their
selves for the problems in Nigeria.
According to Jonathan,
such behavior has never happened in other neighboring African countries.
