I Am Not Owing You A Dime- Bello Tells Kogi Workers After Victory

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state has told workers in the state that he is not indebted to them in any way. Many people have speculated that Bello was still owing months of unpaid salaries before the election which he won.

Some of the workers believed that they did Bello a favor by reelecting him for a second term and hence they deserve more attention in his second term. Hose who were screened out for being ghost workers also thinks that Bello may overlook their wrong and reabsorb them back to the civil service.

However, it seems that governor Bello is not going to make a jamboree of his second term. He has frankly stated that he does not owe workers a dime as speculated.

The heavy criticisms that he was owing months of salaries may have been politically motivated by the opposition.
