The governorship election in Kogi state has ended but the aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party are still in a legal tussle over who won the governorship primary of the party.
Many people who heard about the recent adjournment of the case between a son of former governor Ibrahim Idris and his rival and major contender during the PDP governorship primary Musa Wada, wondered why they kept the fight on even after losing the election to incumbent Yahaya Bello of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
There were allegations that Ibro and his son Abubakar colluded with the APC to back their candidate Yahaya Bello to ensure that Musa Wada did not emerge the winner but this has not been substantiated.
It is also not certain what implication the outcome of the judgment will have on the already concluded election.
