Babajide Sanwolu has
been governor of Lagos state for close to five months now and it seemed that he
just learned one of the big lessons of leadership. He very lessons that Ambode
failed to learn when he dared to stand against the great Aiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Most political analysts can say that Tinubu personally denied Ambode
a second term in office and brought Sanwolu to take his place.
This has made many people think that Sanwolu is more humble than former
governor Ambode.
Recently, Sanwolu asked Lagosians to stop calling him "your excellency",
explaini9ng that that title belongs only to God.
Tinubu and other Lagos leaders had criticized Ambode for not being a
listening governor. Others allege that he was stiff necked and proud that is why
he had to be removed from office.
Many other governors have tried this same approach to gain the favor of
the people and this seems to be working for Ambode.
