Okene Now The Most Populous LGA In Kogi State

Okene town was the game-changer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate in the soon to be concluded governorship election. It pushed Governor Yahaya Bello to victory after satisfactory performance in Kogi east.

Political analysts across the state have been dumbfounded and can not figure out how governor Bello was able to properly mobilize his people to stand by him at this critical time.

The total votes cast in Okene LGA alone superseded those cast in four to five local governments in Kogi east thereby putting an end to the meet that Kogi East is the most populated area in gi state with the highest number of voters that can determine the outcome of any election.

All eyes are now on Okene
