The candidate of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just-concluded governorship election Engr
Musa Wada has visited the family of a PDP women leader who was locked up in her
room and burnt to death by thugs during the governorship election.
Violence and all forms of malpractices marred the conduct of the
governorship election in which governor Yahaya Bello was declared the
winner.
The violence was general and has been widely condemned by many national
and international observers who have described the process as flawed.
Wada signed the condolence register and condoled with the family of the
late PDP women leader who was burnt to death by thugs allegedly working for the
