Yahaya Bello has emerged. He was seen sipping a cup of tea and watching the
live updates of the election from the dependent National Electoral Election
Commission (INEC).
The governor who looked unperturbed is leading by a wide margin and he
may emerge victorious against his opponent Engr Musa da and Natasha Akpoti who
have been crying foul play even before the final announcement of results.
Governor Bello who is the youngest state governor in Nigeria came into
power after the death of former governor Abubakar Audu who died on the eve of
his being declared winner of the election in 2015.
Bello has played an inclusive politics which has endeared him in the
hearts of the majority of Kogites.
