A Nigerian pastor has been sentenced to death for killing his wife by stabbing her multiple times with a knife. The man who is a youth pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God in his defense stated that he was not responsible for her death.
After hearing testimonies for and against the accused pastor Kolawole, the trial judge passed the death sentence on him for killing his wife.
The couples were said to be having a rough marriage which has experienced many fights and quarrels as acknowledged by the wife’s parent who testified against her husband.
They claim that their daughter could not have taken her own life as argued by the pastor.
The judge could not believe the pastor's story that a demon that possessed his wife made her mysteriously stab herself close to seventy times and stab him too.
