When Last Did You Buy A Flower?

It is not a mistake or an accident of nature that floriculture business is booming in Abuja and other modern cities than in rural communities. Some even have a way of preserving their business even in the dry season.

While the business is often run by Nigerians, the buyers are mainly foreigners in the FCT. Aside from foreigners, estate managers and other professionals acquire them for formal purposes but Nigerians rarely buy naturally grown flowers for their residence.

A look at one flower spot in Jabi, FCT shows a beautiful arrangement of various types of flowers of various colors. What strikes most people about the Nigerian run business is that most of its clients are foreigners who acquire flowers to beautify their surroundings.

A large number of Nigerians in the FCT do not buy flowers. He reason for this is that most of them live in rented apartments and do not feel obliged to maintain a beautiful environment.
