The claim that there
are no permanent friends or enemies in politics has often proven to be true in
Nigerian politics as the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA)
Uche Nwosu has decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The exact reason for
his decision is still unknown but the son-in-law to former governor Okorocha
said that he has forgiven all those that wronged him during the 2019
governorship election in the state that led to his defection from the APC
Okorocha had remained
the senatorial candidate of the APC while his son-in-law Uche Nwosu decamped to
the AA after he was denied the APC governorship ticket in Imo state.
His return to his former party has been viewed by some Nigerians as a sign that the crisis rocking the APC in Imo State which led to the election losses in 2019 is finally over.
