Dayo Amusa Exposes “Money” in Nollywood

Only a few top Nollywood celebrities have been bold enough to open up on their true source of wealth. Their silence has left members of the public to carry all sorts of stories about indecency and negative source of wealth by Nollywood stars.

That is why when actress Dayo Amusa told the Sun newspaper that she did not make her money from Nollywood, many people were surprised to hear that Nollywood is not a gold mine.

The actress explained that although she is a filmmaker and actress she has other sources of making money aside from the movie industry.

Her revelation is just coming days after a veteran Nollywood star Funke Akindele advised upcoming actors and actresses not to be under pressure to become famous in the industry because it takes time.

Nollywood has produced many stars who have made tremendous progress in the industry making many people think that it is the surest route to making money but Dayo Amusa’s insight into this issue has cleared the air.
