There
is a heated debate going on about the decision of the Buhari led federal
government to start giving free visas to Africans who want to come to Nigeria.
The policy will be implemented in 2020 which is only a few weeks away.
The former Minister of
Aviation Chief Femi Feni Kayode raised an alarm while reacting to the reports
that Nigeria will commence the issuance of free visa from 2020.
He claimed that it is
part of the antics of President Buhari to bring in his Fulani brothers from
many African countries into Nigeria.
The open Visa policy
was implemented by many countries such as Britain and America in the past and
Nigerians have benefited from it.
Nigerians have also
started reacting to the news complaining that allowing free visas from African
countries will encourage migration which will create a crisis in Nigeria due to
the high rate of unemployment and poverty.
