Christians
across the world have been outraged by a movie titled “Gay Jesus” which was
allegedly made by some gay activists and sympathizers. The movie was published
on a very popular movie app Netflix.
As in many parts of the
world, Nigerians have been outraged at Netflix for allowing the movie in its
app. This is coming at a time when Christians all over the world are getting
ready to celebrate Chrismas which marks the birth of Jesus, the Christian
messiah.
Nigerian pastors have
not been left out of the drama as fiery cleric Pastor Johnson Suleman has asked
Christians in Nigeria to boycott and delete Netflix app from their phones in
protest against the movie.
The call to delete the
Netflix movie app has also been reechoed by Pastor of Rulers of Destiny Abuja,
Apostle Dan Akpai who expressed his disappointment at Netflix for allowing the
movie on their app in this sensitive period.
It is not certain at
this time if Christian organizations may challenge the legality of the
offensive movie which goes against the beliefs if Christians in many parts of
the world.
