The
leaked video of a Babcock student which went viral some weeks ago sent a strong
signal to people who have been speculating that secular celebrities like Davido
and Olumide had done a great job deepening the club culture in Babcock
University.
The video exposed the
University as one in which students are mainly involved in clubbing and
partying at the expense of their academic pursuit. That could be the reason why
the University management expelled the student in the video.
Davido is popularly known
for being loved by the street. When a celebrity is loved by the streets it
means that he made things happen in his days at the university.
Clubbing is also
associated with drinking, sex and drugs which are considered social vices.
Apart from Davido, Olumide
Oworu who is famous for his role in the MTV series “The Johnsons” is also a
graduate of Babcock University.
The University was likely a very randy
environment because of the influence of these celebrities.
