The
celebrity actor and Ghallywood star John Dumelo have in a live interview on Joy
FM a popular radio station in Ghana said that his wife Gift Dumelo dealt with
him.
The celerity who is
planning to become the President of Ghana had taken to his social media account
to make a post calling for the repealing of the law against polygamy and
polyandry in Ghana.
In Ghana, the practice
of polygamy and polyandry is against the law and the actor hopes to ignite a
political debate with the post. He has been getting more involved in politics
to boost his chances of becoming Ghana’s president.
But when he made the
post, his wife Gift Dumelu with whom he shared the idea before posting it asked
him to come home and meet her second husband since she supports equality in
Ghana.
A perplexed Dumelo
quickly took down the post which also went viral online and generated many
reactions.
