Nigerians have been reacting to the news reports about the Honourable Minister of Transportation being attacked in Madrid, Spain. Rotimi AmaEchi was said to have been attacked by people he described as misguided Nigerians.
The misguided Nigerians were said to have besieged him in Madrid at an undisclosed location where they attempted to harass him.
Incidents of Nigerian leaders being attacked by Nigerians in foreign countries are now common and it seems that some Nigerians are giving it some moral support.
The case of senator Ike Ekweremadu went viral because of the video evidence of the nature of the attack but for Ameachi, there is no video to back up the claim.
Nigerians who reacted to the reports reminded the minister that he once boasted during the Ekweremadu saga that no one can attack him anywhere in the world. When he said that, he was speaking indirectly to members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that had attacked Ekweremadu in Germany.
Members of the public are still shopping for the video of the alleged attack on Amaechi.
