If
there is anyone that members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra
(IPOB) think may deserve the kind of treatment given to the former deputy
senate president Ike Ekweremadu it must be Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra
state.
Obiano has been tough
on members of the Indigenous People of Biafra against their anti-Nigeria
stance. He has stressed on many occasions that the Biafran agitators will not
be tolerated in Anambra state.
It was in his state
that the ugly incident which resulted in the death of two policemen took place.
Some policemen were alleged to have tried to arrest the lawyer of the leader of
IPOB who is currently abroad after feeling trial in Nigeria.
Obiano has issued a
stern warning on members of the group who have perpetuated the violence against
agents of the state.
He has vowed to fish
out the perpetrators of the heinous crime against the Nigerian state.
