With
Senator Dino Melaye out of the senate, the All Progressive Congress (APC)
Senate caucus has received a new senator for Kogi West in the person of Senator
Smart Adeyemi.
After a keenly
contested election which was declared inconclusive and later concluded
according to the provisions of the law, Senator Smart Adeyemi was declared the
winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Nigerian senate has
administered the oath of office to monitor Smart Adeyemi and welcomed him to
the senate.
He will now join other
APC senators to support and promote the agenda of the APC in the Nigerian
senate.
For most people,
senator mart Adeyemi sis not different from Senator Dino Melaye in terms of
disposition to critical issues.
Nigerians can only sit
back and watch how well senator mart will fit into Dino Melaye’s big shoes.
