Shock! As Elrufai Receives Obasanjo in Kaduna State

In politics, there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies. That is the best way to describe what transpired on December 11 in Kaduna state when President Obasanjo was received by the governor of Kaduna state and former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Obasanjo made Elrufai the minister of the federal capital territory during his administration. The two fell out after Obasanjo left office in 2007 and Elrufai decided to become a full-time politician.

I public rallies held for the rrelection of president Buhari Elrufai was a key critic of successive Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration for failing to develop Nigeria including Obasanjo.

The meeting which they had today has been described as unconnected to the 2023 presidential election which Elrufai reportedly has a key interest in.

At least, Buhari's cult-like following would not be a factor as most notable northern politicians will join the presidential race.
