Did The Pope Really Slapped a Woman on Christmas Eve?

A video of the catholic pontiff Pope Francis went viral in which he dragged his painful arm from a woman who suddenly grabbed him after he greeted children at the nativity scene in Rome.

Many people felt that the pope's action contradicts what his policies of kindness and charity teach. Reactions quickly began to trail the pope's action with critics hitting hard on the leader of the over 1.2billion Catholics for showing a bad example to the world.

But some people have come in defense of the pope claiming that the pope felt excruciating pain when his hand was grabbed because of an ailment. The video showed the pope slapping the woman's hand to leave him. 

In his usual humble gesture, Pope Francis apologized for his actions despite many reasons to seek justification admitted his failings and bad example calling on all to keep seeking Christ in hope.
