The governor of Oyo State took to his verified Twitter handle earlier today to disclose his recent predicament as he has become one of Nigerians governor to test positive to the coronavirus.

He tweeted: “I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is POSITIVE. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate. “I have designated Prof Temitope Alonge, former chief medical director of the University College, Ibadan, as the head of COVID-19 Task Force while I recover fully.

EL-RUFAI

El-Rufai disclosed this himself through a video that was posted on his verified twitter handle this Saturday evening and happens to be the first case so far in Kaduna State. 

The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has tested positive to the coronavirus disease. 

 BALA MOHAMMED

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has tested positive to coronavirus (COVID-19), following clinical tests carried out oh him and his aides.

This was announced by the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, on Tuesday, March 24, in a statement to the general public.
