25 States have recorded instances of coronavirus with 782 affirmed cases as at 11:25 pm on April 21 with 25 passings.
The Governors, working under the aegis of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF), agreed in the wake of getting a preparation from the Governors of Lagos, Bauchi, Oyo, and Ogun States who shared their encounters and lessons from the battle against COVID-19.
Fayemi stated: "Governors collectively consented to the usage of an inter-State lockdown in the nation throughout the following fourteen days to moderate the spread of the infection from state to state. Just essential services will be allowed."
"So as to fortify facilitated execution of public health proposals across states, governors set out to set up COVID-19 advisory groups at the Regional level, headed by their state Commissional for Health.
"Local advisory groups will keep on interface with the State Team Boards of trustees on COVID-19 previously settled in each state.
Do you think this would ever be the best decision for the other states that have already been on lockdown for almost a month now ?
