Sigma Consulting Group - Our client, a renowned Medical Service Provider situated in Lagos State requires services of the position below:


Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Lagos State

Summary
The ideal candidates would be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients , tagging each samples and work closely with the Phlebotomist to ensure that the proper diagnostic reports are delivered for each patients.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for diagnostic testing in medical laboratories, receiving, labeling and analyzing specimens.

Requirements

Valid Medical Laboratory Technician license
Must be experienced with laboratory practices/ methods and scientific terminologies.
Computer skills are relevant.
Proven experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
Analytical skills.
Must know how to calibrate, operate, troubleshoot and maintain the equipment.
Good eye-hand coordination are required.
Must follow instructions and procedures very carefully.
Good interpersonal skills are necessary to put patients at ease and build rapport with patients and coworkers.
Strong attention to details.
Excellent organization skills.

Ability to write correspondence and reports.

Skills:
Meticulous attention to details.
Analytical skills.
Time management.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
