Good News: Seventh Day Nursing School have reinstated the Suspended Nursing Students | See Full Gist

Sequel to the unpalatable and infuriating update that was received concerning the nursing students of seventh day adventist school of nursing whom were involved in a Protest Against poor feeding and bad governance from the management of the institution.

The management of the institution have at the early afternoon of 18th February, 2021 said to have called back the affected Nursing Students which are 7 in number, 6 final year students and a part 1 Student of the institution.

MemoNaija Reports correspondent collated that the students that were affected, some of them were said to have been thrown out of their hostels at the early hours of 18th February, which are those that were part of the students that have been issued a Suspension letter, who could not travel home on the day the letter was issued, but had to hang in the hostel till the next day.

Though the school mandated them to write an apology letter and they were reinstated back as students, still the school management is yet to address the said issue that led to the Protest which is long overdue for evaluation and improvement over the years.

One Mr Abiola Africa, and other members of a group named NGA (Nursing Group Admins of Nigeria) also put in their efforts in bringing back the nursing students to school as the final year students affected would be commencing their examination on Monday. The organization also promises to bringing sanity to the institution and finding a means to helping the Students find a lasting solution to their complained problems.

The organization gave a shocking truth says "Owing to the pressure from everyone outside the school system,  the school authority called a meeting with the affected students and the letter of suspension given to them was withdrawn. The school mandated them to write an apology letter and they were reinstated back as students."

NGA says "Thanks to everyone who contributed in their own way but we are determined to probe further on other anomalies going on in the school.

This should also serve as a clarion call to other tyrannical leaders who by all means want to oppress Nurses, your days of reckoning are surely numbered.

If these Students had not voiced out they would have suffered on their legitimate rights."
